

Third Age Challenge Ltd (TAC) is a not-for-profit organisation set up in 1993, whose primary mission is to support older people who are either unemployed or at risk of unemployment. We help people to find jobs, change career or develop IT skills and basic skills.
During its lifetime, TAC has been supported by the DfEE, European Social Fund and European Directorates in addition to Local Authorities, Training and Enterprise Council, and the Learning and Skills Council.
TAC offers a variety of in-house services, such as:
one to one information, advice and guidance on job search and career change
a programme of job search training courses including 'effective CV', 'making applications', 'interview skills'
free literacy and numeracy courses leading to the new National Qualification
IT for Beginners and New CLAIT training
a resource centre comprising leaflets and information on job search and employment issues, with access to Broadband internet computers
